More organs and tissues
The last version of IDEA provides dose coefficients for the effective dose and for 24 organs and tissues as given in the ICRP Publication 30 series and Publications 54, 68, and 78.
The new version IDEAplus includes in addition dose coefficients for the salivary glands, gall bladder, heart, lymphatic nodes, oral mucosa, and prostate, as given by the OIR series. The upper and lower large intestine (ULI and LLI) from the ICRP Publication 30 model have been combined to one tissue (colon) in the new model.
Thus, the new version IDEAplus provides now all dose coefficients for the effective dose and for 29 organs and tissues.
