IDEA SYSTEM FOLLOWS THE
GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR THE ESTIMATION OF COMMITTED EFFECTIVE DOSE FROM INCORPORATION MONITORING DATA (IDEAS GUIDELINES)
The IDEAS Guidelines have been developed in the framework of the IDEAS Project under EU Contract No. FIKR-CT2001-00160 by a consortium consisting of 9 European professionals:

The IDEAS Guidelines have been first published in 2005. In the following years the IDEAS Guidelines have been supplemented in some parts by EURADOS Working Group 6. These supplements are considered by IDEA System as far as they are relevant for practical incorporation monitoring and internal dosimetry, respectively.
